Our team at COBA Flooring were approached at Studio Ypsilon, to discuss refurbishments on a shared office space in central London that had been untouched and was in great need of modernising.
The existing deep mat well created a step from the entrance to the main corridor, posing a hazard that required an immediate and effective solution. Additionally, it was crucial for the client to have a matting profile capable of efficiently gathering dirt and moisture.
After consulting with our Area Sales Manager, Harrison, we decided to add a screed build-up to level the walkway, effectively eliminating the trip hazard caused by the original deep mat well. The team then installed a 17mm Plan.A Standard with an Alba surface in Anthracite. The vibrant and sleek aluminium design complemented the new modern interior of the office, while the Alba surface provided enhanced dirt removal and moisture absorption.
