The challenge was clear: replace the outdated matting with a product that would revive the look and feel of the reception space without compromising on durability. With thousands of guests passing through the doors each week, Gillray’s required an entrance mat that could withstand heavy footfall, maintain its appearance, and complement the restaurant’s classically rustic aesthetic.
To meet these requirements, the COBA Flooring team supplied and installed the Precision Loop Logomat. Engineered for both form and function, this matting offers UV resistance, ensuring the colours remain vibrant even under constant use and exposure to natural light. For Gillray’s, a light brown finish was selected – striking a balance between warmth and sophistication, whilst matching with the restaurant’s established interior design.
The addition of inlay lettering provided a crisp, professional finish, ensuring the mat not only serves a practical role but also reinforces branding at the entrance. Every detail, from the sharpness of the text to the overall composition, was tailored to create a welcoming and distinctive impression for arriving guests.
