The Natural Coir Entrance Mats are made of Coconut Husk Fibres that are coarse and renowned for their dirt-scraping properties. Bonded to a heavy-duty PVC anti-slip backing for minimum movement which makes it ideal to use indoors as a loose mat or in mat wells as done here at Fairmont High School. Plus you can have a logo printed on these mats as well to add a touch of personality.
What made this project so interesting was that Granville and his team had to remove the current Entrance Matting System, and the amount of dirt that was captured in these mats was quite astonishing. Just take a look at this – and this was only about 1/4 of the dirt that was extracted from these mats. It just goes to show how important Entrance Matting Systems are for any facility.
