Sometimes the Smallest Details Make the Biggest Impression
Sometimes the Smallest Details Make the Biggest Impression
When guests arrive at a lodge, they notice more than the view.
They notice the entrance, the surroundings, the welcome and all the smaller details that make the space feel considered.
For Pamarah Lodge in Victoria Falls, one of those details was the entrance mat.
Through distributor Holler Trade, COBA Flooring supplied for the lodge, creating an opportunity to turn something practical into something that also felt part of the property.
The Opportunity
Pamarah Lodge was looking for branded entrance matting that could add a personalised touch to the property while still serving a practical purpose.
Working through distributor Holler Trade, COBA Flooring supplied custom Super Contract Fall Logo Mats featuring the lodge’s branding.
The project was the first time COBA Flooring had produced these particular mats for Pamarah Lodge, giving the lodge a tailored entrance solution that felt more connected to its identity.
Creating Something Specifically for the Lodge
This was the first time COBA Flooring produced these mats for Pamarah Lodge, so the focus was on creating something that felt suited to the property rather than supplying a standard off-the-shelf option.
A Super Contract Fall Logo Mat was customised with the Pamarah Lodge branding, giving the entrance a more finished and distinctive look.
The result is simple, but effective.
Guests are welcomed by a mat that feels connected to the lodge itself, while the mat still performs the practical role expected from an entrance solution.

Why Logo Matting Works So Well in Hospitality
Hospitality spaces are built around details.
A lodge might spend time carefully choosing furniture, signage, décor and finishes, but the floor at the entrance is often overlooked. That makes logo matting an easy opportunity.
It can help bring a brand into the space without adding another sign or display, and because guests naturally walk across it, it becomes part of the environment rather than something competing for attention.
For lodges, hotels, guest houses and similar venues, that combination of function and presentation can be especially valuable.
A Good Result and a Bigger Opportunity
For Pamarah Lodge, the finished mats added a customised touch to the entrance and gave the property another subtle way to reinforce its identity.
For Holler Trade and COBA Flooring, the project also highlighted the wider potential for custom logo matting within the hospitality sector.
Sometimes a product is more than the job it was originally bought to do.
In this case, a mat became part of the welcome.
